Expert Witness for Kent, Surrey, Sussex and the South East

I have over 15 years experience as an Expert Witness in construction disputes of all kinds. I have particular experience involving claims of professional negligence and disputes concerning professional fees between client and architect. I can provide work for Kent, Surrey, Sussex and throughout the South East.

I have been appointed both as a party expert witness and as a single joint expert to evaluate evidence and provide opinion. Most of my instructions are from solicitors (or occasionally, barristers) and I am happy to be instructed at an early stage of a dispute to make an assessment of the issues involved and the chances of success, whether acting on behalf of the claimant or the plaintiff.

I have appeared at both formal and informal hearings and mediations and I have High Court (Technology and Construction Court) experience. I am listed with the UK Register of Expert Witnesses and in the publication Expert Witness, Expert Consultant. References from solicitors are available on request.

Party Walls

I have extensive experience in party wall negotiations and disputes, particularly in London (where I practiced until 1990), acting both for the developer / private owner and the adjoining owner.

Planning

I also have extensive experience in planning negotiations, formulating and presenting planning and Listed Building applications and appeals, including appearing at both formal and informal hearings.
